MEDICAL REPORT] luisSuarez9 out for 10-15 days
 #BetisBarça

Too bad, I was hoping he was out for a little longer than that. 3 weeks would've been perfect. He would be ready for United, but he wouldn't be able to play in La Liga, so Malcom would have to. Still is possible of course, if EV chooses so, but he won't. He'll rather play Suarez until he really gets seriously injured and he's out for the rest of the season, then give some La Liga matches to Malcom to at least give him some incentive to wanna stay beyond this summer at the club.

First injury since when? First time he is injured in his time here. And wasn't injured once at Liverpool. First injury in a decade and its a small one. Talk about a lion and value for the money.

Best 9 of his generation

He got injured in the last game he played for Liverpool before the 2014 World Cup. He had knee surgery and came back from that in six weeks to single handedly eliminate England from the World Cup. Then he bit Chiellini in the next game.

History of Suarez in two games.

Suarez has always missed a lot of chances, he did it in Ajax, he did a lot in the first time in Liverpool and got better but stil missed in his best season 13/14, and he has more or less done with us. All tho he had period where he was quiet effective.

I saw someone here praising his 13/14 season. And i do agree that that season was prob the most impressive and of highest quality since the day i started following PL in 2010. He didnt even take penalties and scored 31, also had assists for him going, and was r*aping every team as a left winger.

80m was a bargain. But I think he had a deal with liverpool and then his WC-performance.

Just saw on sofascore that he missed 28 big chances in Liga, wtf

Thankfully, I think most of those are 2 months or more ago.

He seems a completely different player now than October-December 2017 Suarez. Thank fuck for that. Also, his form has risen drastically during this season. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Ahhhh... Are you forgetting the Chiellini bite intentionally? We took a massive risk with him and it paid off massively and Liverpool wanted to offload him because of his WC antics.

What risk?
Lfc didnt want to off-load him. He was their messi in level, and he was a commited player on the field and had no troubles in the lockerroom. He was to good for them and even before wc it was obvious we were going to but him. If anything wc incident only made him cheaper, but it didnt because lfc new his level and ideally wanted him stay.

We bought him because he was custom made for us, actually he is the single one player I never doubted would make it big here. And I was sure he would behave on the pitch, because he didnt want to fuck it up at his favorit club, his wive was from barcelona and he Always seemed to be a decent human being.

nd with his histp

You sure? I guess you never read the interviews where the man himself said he tought that his career was finished because of the WC incident and that he cried of joy when Barca bought him. Chiellini incident took off at least 20 million of the price.

That was my impression back then. I read it, but its because barca and lfc were in talk before wc, and barca was his dream destination afterall, so its a reasonable fear that barca might not go through. Iirc The price in media was 80m before wc, and i think it was so low because he had an agree ment with lfc. The year before he stayed all tho he could have moved to arsenal for a fee between 40-55m pound. Gerrad talked him from it and told him that IF he waits barca would Come for him. So he stayed.

So I dont think anything was knocked off, but im sure barca tried but lfc wouldnt botch. I ALSO remember reading in media that lfc wouldnt go down on the price. And it made sense, because he already was cheap considering his level, he fitted our team like a glove and we needed a Cf desperately. But I also think that lfc didnt botch, ment they would have been fine staying or actually preferred it. They did try to make a PL-winning team and he was a functional socially player in the squad - not a outsider. He was in fact The star of their team. Maybe the Liverpool fan here can provide some infos as well regarding this matter
