Suarez despite beibg frustrating at times nowadays has to be the best striker along with Henry since r9. Above the likes of Zlatan, Aguero, Lewandowski, Van nistelrooy, Cavani, Eto’o, Villa, Drogba, Falcao etc.

Yes, i agree. What makes the difference for me is his level from 13/14 to 15/16. He was a beast back then and only player to reach same tier one level as Ronaldo and Messi.

what Suarez did in that season Liverpool almost won the PL was insane. i just wish we signed him earlier in his career, would of loved to see more of him at Barca.. kinda the same with David Villa

Yes, 1 year earlier would have been perfect. Already in season 12/13 he played wonderful and it was obvious he was top class. Realistically we should have bought him in 2013. I never got why not more clubs were in for him when he played in Ajax, his talent was obvious.

I wouldn't be surprised if his biting and disposition were concerns in getting the biggest clubs at that time from bidding as well.

It has been a crime he wasn't on the BdO stand (top 3) 2-3 times if not having a very good case for winning it. Again I think the biting and rep biased the process.

It's amazing going back and watching him during his time at Liverpool. Just how mobile and how much tighter he was with the ball at his feet. Shame he's getting old and his own body just isn't capable doing such things as he used to during his Liverpool and early days here consistently.
