Luis Suárez

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually gets his own ass chewed out or even worse by someone on the team.

He's basically asking to get his ass kicked one of these days.

Irritating player.

[tw]<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"> Suarez: "He hears it when he loses a ball and there’s this ‘zzzzzhhhhhiiii’, he hears that buzzing, that murmur, and that affects him. He thinks: ‘Ay, the fans, ay, if I lose another ball.’ No. The fans have to support our players."</p>— BarçaTimes (@BarcaTimes) <a href="https://twitter.com/BarcaTimes/status/1121773855360593921?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 26, 2019</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

and yet he does exactly this to Dembele.

Another thing that I hate about Suarez's attitude towards Dembele today

Dembele is a 21 years old player returning from an injury and is very slow in getting back to the rythm. Suarez is supposedly a senior on this team and should be a role model. So, they get onto the pitch and Fatass is actively trying to exclude Ousmane from play, instead of trying to get him back to the form before his injury, when he was literally unplayable in some matches and won us a lot of points in the league, before the most crucial matches of the season. Instead, Suarez tries to make the case for his buddy, Coutinho (who was decent apart from finishing and taking years to make a decision) and passing every single ball to him (that 15% that he could control), just to make him look better than Dembele, despite Coutinho having almost a month of starts behind him to cement his spot, but did fuck all during this time (complacency again, surprise, surprise). All of this while having a shithousery of a game himself.

So, all in all, what is the message for all of the young attackers that want to come to Barca? Better befriend Suarez and buy him a bottle of vodka, otherwise you'll be rotting on the bench or play and be ignored by our senior attackers. No potentially world-class young forwards will want to come here since seeing the hierarchy here. This Suarez-Messi buddy-buddy bubble needs to pop rather sooner than later. And with having Boateng, who is a living meme as backup and a coach with no authority, I just don't see this happening. And the longer it lasts, the more damaging it will be for FC Barcelona in the post Leo era.

As he gets older his football ability gets worse and worse.

His passing, First touch and positioning most of the time is so amateurish you would think he's some guy that won a contest to put on a Barca Jersey so he can play 15 mins with the Pros themselves. I get it he's getting old but his Football IQ is laughable now as well. He went from being Clever and intelligent in knowing what to do, to just flat out being stupid.

He's fortunate enough that the other striker options out there are just garbage so we are stuck with him.

Even though i'm still against Griezmann coming for various reasons, the one big reason for him to come is to add another Frenchman into our attack to replace Suarez, who is actively ignoring Dembele on the pitch every chance he gets, and is even leading Messi astray to do the same.

This would be for the good of our future, which Dembele is massive part of, hopefully. But with EV here Griezmann coming creates the risk of not Suarez getting benched, but Dembele, which would be a disaster of epic proportions and which we must avoid at all costs. So I'm really undecided about this for now, we'll just have to wait and see. I can't imagine the club officials, seeing Suarez can't play 2 full games per week anymore and still stay world class in either of them, actually think that Suarez could remain our #1 striker for much longer, at least I hope not.

If Griezmann comes, Coutinho can't play on the wing anymore, must be moved to midfield, while Suarez and Griezmann would need to get the Coutinho/Dembele treatment, each playing 1 full game per week, with one subbing in for the other after 60 minutes each game. But I really don't see EV being ballsy enough to implement that, sadly. While Dembele and Malcom would fight for that 3rd spot in attack and divide their minutes in the same manner. Suarez and Griezmann could still play together when Messi gets rested, which we see EV does have tendency to do it more often than our previous managers. Change it to 4-4-2 perhaps and give Coutinho that free role cutting inside from LM to really make him shine when Messi is not there.

Question being, can we really afford Griezmann and De Ligt and not selling neither Coutinho nor Malcom? If we sell Rakitic, maybe. It would be for the best actually, cause I want us to get rid of him anyway, but man management would be a huge problem with this many stars for Valverde, I suspect. Not to mention he just isn't willing to move Coutinho to midfield, which would be a must in this case.

ah yes suarez the bastard is leading messi to ignore his teammates

what's next for the evil Uruguayan to do, bite off malcoms leg to further prevent him from taking his spot?!

some of the controversies made up in this board are quiet hilarious
one month they love suarez, next he is actively trying to ostracize players

players like demebele who've only said good things about suarez's help in the backroom and training but the fans know best i guess.

they want their friend coutinho to play against Liverpool, I feel the disaster for this semifinal.
many players may leave Barça next season if they are eliminated by Liverpool.
Valverde will not stay if things go wrong.

Why Suarez getting tons of minutes even when playing bad.
And people complaining about how he ignored Dembele, Dembele equally played badly

I have stopped expected him to do anything apart from finishing a long time ago and I will not expect him to do anything else against Liverpool.

Just finish what you get mate. That is all.
