Man are u serious any any player with messi next
To him would score this much, this guy wasted 35 certain scoring chances, benzema the all mighty
Benzema scored 18 goals while only wasting 17 sure
Chances!? Wesam from sevilla scored 17 while wasting
Only 16 chances u think those 2 players get the same chances suarez get with
Messi!?
So what happened to Ibrahimovic, Henry, Sanchez, Pedro? It's not that simple to play next to Messi. Maybe Benzema would only get 10 next to Messi.
And there's no such thing as a certain chance. Even Messi misses. He missed four against Liverpool in the second leg.

Prime Pedro was a perfect player for both Barça as a team and Messi's partner.
We will never have someone like him who was so critical and intelligent.

Learn when to walk out gracedully dickhead. He's gonna make the fans forget about the good moments and remember him as the annoying wasteful striker that we had to be stuck with more than we needed

Let's bench the leading scorer in la Liga after Messi and replace him with ???

Jovic was an option but he's gone. Lacazette, Aubamayang, Werner, Maxi Gomez.

One of the reasons we've done so poorly in cl is Suarez record in the competition. It's terrible for a top team.

He has become an extremely annoying cunt. It's time for him to be benched. I wouldn't sell him yet.

Pedro was a solid overall player for Spain and Barca. Never world class and overrated however. Was never in the same stratosphere as a prime Suarez.

cut the crap out and stop defending Suarez. We need an elite striker not someone who scores 1 goal per CL campaign

The crap perspective is taking out one very limited sample of games in one competition, and one or two specific stats, rather than the totality of contributions to Barca's season. Dude is 2nd highest rated player in La Liga by whoscored and 5th by sofascore. And 2nd highest rated player (both metrics) in the CL for Barca (and FYI Coutinho was 3rd in CL in total contributions).

We all know (at least those even a little plugged) Saurez struggled through knee wear all year and we need a better alternate CF to rest Suarez more substantially in the upcoming year,s but he is chronically underappreciated in this forum for his fight and performance, and it is a joke to mention a Pedro quality player in thread about one of the best strikers in his generation in one Luis Suarez.

if he wasnt fat, you could accept him at this age.

He is not really fat though. I think he needs to drop like 4/5kg to be fit. Not Higuain levels.
Drop the weight, get rid of the knee problem, stop the bullying of younger players and rotate properly with a second striker and I would like to see Suarez stay at barca.
But not the same as now with boateng as back up and overall negative play.

he is fat. he is 4-5 kilos over weight.
he's been chilling with the family eating too much.

he needs to get his fat ass in shape for next year as it's his final year for the club.

Pedro was far from an overrated player:lol:
For possession-based football system, I would take prime Pedro over prime Suárez anytime.
It's generally not impossible to find someone like prime Suárez (not these days obviously since the whole football world is suffering lack of talents) but it's almost impossible to find someone like prime Pedro who defined what an ideal winger/wide player should be in Cruyffian football. Even legends like Henry and Villa have often said that they learned a lot from Pedro's movement and decision.
The only problem with Pedro was that his prime did not last many years.

We'll see. Contract expires 2021 and i wouldn't even be surprised if they extend it at some point.

his contract can expire in 2050 but by the end of next year the guy will be on crutches.

There was a reason Barca moved to bring better players in than Pedro. Laughable to compare a prime Pedro to a prime Suarez. Pedro may have been a harder worker and more knowledgeable player of the system than Messi or Iniesta too, and got more out of his god given attributes than anyone, doesn't mean he should be in mentioned in the same breath of these players.
