Yes, when he gains 10 KG extra by January from eating too much couscous and paella, that's not enough evidence of him being unprofessional.

like he couldn't eat all that stuff at home, in barcelona  you just won't let go of this bullshit. are you the club's fitness coach by any chance?

i'd say this is his last season at the club too

Ship him off to MLS! One thing Barca does right is send the rejects to Chelsea, Milan or MLS! Plus all his buddies will be in MLS in 2020 and US is a great place to raise kids and they speak Spanish in most parts(although Luis knows both Eng/Esp)

Are you stupid or what? The whole point is some of the players are lacking discipline, commitment and are too complacent regardless of whether he eats his paella in Barcelona or couscous in Morocco, the players can do what the fuck they want. Reminds me of Rijkaard's final year. Suarez had his much-needed operation just before the CDR final and was the shape of his life all to prepare himself for Copa America for his country.

His weight, motivation or when he gets operated, are something else.
Going to Morocco when he has days off is the real subject and FC Barcelona is not a prison that keeps its employees on a leash.

Where did you get the idea he has days off? So every player who gets injured means he is on holiday? You don't understand how a club system works. So Rafinha who was injured most of last season could (according to you), travel the world and still get paid by Barcelona?

Suarez asked for permission from Valverde to get those days off. Any other committed player won't go on vacation at the start of the season and after a game loss, even though he won't be playing. He should be in the treatment room getting ice bath or cryotherapy especially the immediate 48hrs after the injury.

"Reportedly, Ernesto Valverde gave the player free time until Monday evening, as the squad is set to return for training at 18:30 local time."

You are the fucking moron and you insist on looking like a fool. Valverde can give players a few days off but that doesn't mean they have to take a vacation and travel to another country, especially if the player is injured and needs treatment. I like the fact that you ignored all that I said about the treatment and showing commitment. People like you should refrain from talking about work ethics. You can't even think critically when it comes to things like that. There are some smart bros here but a lot of you are flat out dumb that lacks a basic understanding of commitment and work ethics.

What does his injury has to do with him going to a country that you can reach easily from Barcelona by plane? Are you a physio or fitness coach? Does the injury prohibits him from going to the mall, strolling around town or fucking his wife? You make it sound like the guy is in crutches and plays golf.
Just go to sleep man, clearly the day hasn't been kidn to you

Yes. Unfortunately, we have came to the end of Luis Suarez's Barcelona career. That is true. On the top of his very bad performances, now we have this injury. And it wont be the last one. Trust me. So. The best solution for both sides is to send him to the American MLS, preferably to the Western Conference, where the Spanish speaking are dominant. But, before that, we need to find new central forward, who can help this team. I'll mention again three names as his replacements - Krzysztof Piatek from AC Milan, Memphis Depay from Olympic Lyon and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig. It is obvious that Barcelona and Real M. are faking with their interest to Neymar. Now another buyer has raised. Juventus are offering Dibala plus 100 mil. euros for Neymar. So Valverde and Bartomeu has to stop talking about Ney and find the new striker to replace Suarez. That is our biggest need, because at the current squad, no one wants to play at that position.
