Luis Suárez

haha

Putting it this way only makes the argument appear even more favorble for Eto'o! Eto'o's
conversion rate, goals/appearance was 65% to Suarez's 70% - now, considering Suarez played with the GOAT at his prime, in an era where the goal scoring number in general has increased and in particular Barcelona's, having played for a Barcelona team that won 4 of the leagues out of 5 he was part of, compared to Eto'o's 3 - Suarez's contribution looks pale compared to Eto'o! Not to mention Sami never had draught spells like not scoring an away goal for 3 seasons unlike the fatass

i totally agree with you, please if some one post stats of chances vs goals not appearance vs goals, Suarez was service much more better and much more chances
cause he played with the GOAT.
ill take Etos over Suarez any time, Eto was a beast in vital games and he
showed up mentally in Vital and important games, Suares is always
shit in vital and important games.

No guarantee we will have any CL games left when he's back either.

I'd even go further and actually say we won't have any CL games at that point for sure. I honestly don't see us making it to the semifinals this year, if not for an extremely lucky quarterfinal draw like we had last year with ManU, or a Messi masterclass. he should really start focusing on the Cl knockouts every season like Cristiano does, but the problem is, we don't have the team to afford that, since every game he has to do everything to even win us the game. If 2015 Neymar was here, then I could see it, otherwise no. Anyway, this year's equivalent of Unitedi n the quarters would basically be Atalanta or Leipzig only, but even then I'd actually be a little worried, cause they are one step above what United were last year. CL knockouts in general have much stronger teams in there this season when compared to last year.

I think suarez is slightly better than eto'o. You have to take into account that suarez arrived at 27 and eto'o arrived at 23. Eto'o also left whilst in his prime so we only remember him being good. I'm sure eto'o was at Everton when he was 33 and was definitely worse than suarez at 33. Imho suarez was even better at Liverpool than his prime for us.

Very good point bro.

As "Batistuta9" has already sad it, Eto'o at age of 33 as player of Everton has scored just 3 goals in 14 games. Suarez at 33 (2019-20 season) has scored 11 goals in 17 games.

When Eto'o won 2 CL trophies with Barcelona, he was playing with the best ever team-mates like Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho and Messi. Coached by Fr.Rijkaard and Pep Guardiola.

L.Suarez has played for very short time with Messi and Neymar and after that was coached by Pep,Tito Vilanova, Gerardo Moreno, Luis Enrike, E.Valverde and Quique Setien. Six different coaches and playing only with his best buddy, L.Messi. They are both great players and top scorers, but when Luis call it career, he will have scored a lot more goals than Samuel.

Suarez already singlehandedly destroying PL alone even without Messi. Y'all talking about him benefitting from god mode Messi, doesnt even make sense. Accomplishments wise, Suarez will always be above Eto'o. It's not like Messi had the best seasons during 15/16 or 16/17. The whole of MSN suffered, which goes to show a team game is still important to win. And it's not like Eto'o is playing with a bunch of nobodies.
