Wasn't poor as some others were.
Can someone remind me why this guy isn't on his way out? He's world class at some things, but he simply cannot be in a team that wants to play off him in small spaces. A ball at his feet is a lost possession 4 out of 5 times. Now, it seems, his only redeeming qualities, finishing, is gone too. For some magical reason he's still considered the best striker in the world. Why not cash in on that while we can? I would much rather have 60 mil than a pretty goal every other game when we're already ahead.
Sorry but I always said and thought the following thing. This guy can be the greatest 9 in the world and also the worst. His first touch when he makes a pass in a small perimeter is absolutely awful. His game yesterday was so wasteful... bad, bad and bad.
I still love him but I don't think that the club took the right decision when they extended his contract for so long. I'd give him another two years and replace him with a 24/25years of age striker who's at the top of his game.

Juve conceded only few goals in entire CL this season and Suarez is somehow expected to bang few.
He's easy our best player this season after Messi as he's been last year or year before that.
This is my issue with Suarez as well as Raki. Long extensions for players about to hit 30 or already there is idiotic. At best we give Luis 2 seasons, probably the rest of his peak, and then extend on a yearly basis while we invest in someone younger like Mbappe or Dybala. We've tied ourselves to him longer than we should have.
