Yeah, let's sell him. He doesn't know how to pass the ball, he is so out of place at Barca.......
How many strikers would have actually anticipated the back pass on the first goal? That's the thing with Suarez, he isn't a Barcelona like player and never will be.
He is a lone wolf. An absolutely deadly number 9. He never stops hunting. He looks bad most of the time but that's only because he plays in a team that was groomed to look good on the ball.
Suarez isn't the type of assassin that kills you wearing a tux. He prefers to do it wearing a butchers apron, and that's OK to me.

Pretty fast, not Aubameyang-like fast, but he can outrun the defender, especially if they are close and Suarez can use his body to block the defender's path. When Suarez scored that first goal, the defender started running only when Suarez has already been in full speed. Outpacing the opponent is almost always about timing.

Awful mistake by the defender to be complacent when you notice a misplaced pass like that.
And that's why I never lost faith in him. And even at those times when he was in a rut he managed to bag here and there.
First goal was bad mistake by Espanyol but only prowlers like Suarez snatch those.

That's typical lucho mentality and this mindset is precisely what killed us the last 2 seasons. Suarez hunting skills (like you named it) are very inconsistent. Yesterday it payed off
Against juve it didn't and thats the big issue.
Only technical qualities can allow you to maintain exellent form on the long run. That's barca philosophy.
