If we want a more dynamic midfield, then I don't think he would be the answer. Great player in his own right, but too slow and not agile enough for what we need, as I see it.

If that was the case with Willian on the cards I don't see why it would change. If we manage to get Malcom at 40-45 then he's much cheaper than Willian would be.

I like him, might as well add good attacking depth and some competition for Dembele. He certainly looks like a very dangerous player

He's definitely not a typical winger type. More like a support forward who offers goal scoring, pace and a more direct style of play. So could be useful as we lack that abit. Whether that can translate to our team remains to be seen.

He's very talented.

When I mentioned the Gerson deal we were close to signing him but Roma came in with a 20 Million euro bid and gazumped us. But in this case Malcom is much more talented than Gerson and we came in with a bigger offer than Roma.
