Pretty much have to give it to the attacking trio down the right in the first half- if a goal was going to come, that's where it was most likely to break through (in fact it did; Alexis made an excellent run/finish that was called offsides).
1. Messi - still looks to have some malady affecting his endurance, but nearly able to break Elche down a few times
2. Alves- kept the ball on the ground for the most part, good interplay with Alexis and Messi, and some key tackles breaking up Elche counters. Best game in a long time.
3. Sanchez- most likely to score or assist. Not every risk paid off, but worked hard against tight marking.

1. Alexis - it's too bad his golazo won't live on as the La liga winning bomb. No doubt our 2nd or 3rd best player all year.
2. Pique - came back after a while out and played very inspired, shame we didn't have him for Copa final or CL second leg vs Atleti.
3. Mascherano - was playing his heart out, too bad about his height he would be one of the best defenders ever. Maybe last game in a Barca shirt.
