Atletico Madrid, Copa del Rey, away (1-1)

1. Mascherano (32,1%) Solid as a rock. Not much else to say... great game from Masch ~ Vapor
2. Neymar (31,9%) converted his one good chance, perfect placement against a very good keeper ~ BerkeleyBernie
3. Alexis (19%) Pressed hard, ran his legs off, dribbled well and drew fouls. He didn't end up accomplishing much, true, but it took two or three players to do that to him, and that's exactly what we need to see from our wingers, drawing more than one man to mark them ~ Semi-Neutral

Random fact(s) of the round:

- His 1st spot today was Mascherano's first ever in the history of these rankings.
- With 117 (Masch) and 116 (Neymar), only 1 single point made the difference between number 1 and 2, which is another first in the history of this thread.
- If you count last season too, Alexis' 3rd spot finish takes his tally to three podium finishes in his last four outings (two 1st spots and one 3rd)

Tune back to this thread already tonight, when we face Malaga on Estadio La Rosaleda.

Valdes - crucial saves to secure the win
Adriano
Neymar - after he got in Barça became much more dangerous. Needs to start next game.

Semi-Neutral

1. Valdes-Made some excellent saves out there today, especially near the end when our defense was having panic attacks, he stood firm and earned us our three points
2. Asexis-Constantly got down the right wing, giving their left back a torrid time with his changes in direction and cuts and wriggles, and really deserved to get a goal or assist
3. Cesc-Though he faded out in the second half, he was on fire in the first, constantly threatening and threading through passes and scaring Malaga's defense

HM:
Song-Kept things ticking nicely, still not his Arsenal-level confidence but he's getting there as he keeps putting in solid shift after solid shift
Adriano-Amazing goal, but not too much beside it
Neymar-Did great in the time offered to him, outperformed Pedro by a mile

Deco 20

Scandinavian 101
Málaga:

Adriano
Valdes
(eternity)
Piqué

Honorable mentions:Alves, Mascherano, Iniesta, Cesc, Neymar
