1. Pique - worked his ass off preventing mid/forward mistakes from being turned into goals.
2. Pedro - the only attacker playing a smart game. Should have seen the ball more instead of Neymar.
3. Xavi - played well, but team instructed to play direct, bypassing his pivot for the most part.

HM: Messi - did the best he could with his counterattack opportunities, but not effective trying to create for others.

 

[Semi-Neutral]

Pique - Didn't make any mistakes, wasn't at fault for their goal, and had some nice interceptions and blocks, encouraging that he's fit and ready for City
Messi - Had a decent game, played some nice passes, tried some nice runs, but on some days you just can't do anything and today was one of those
Pedro - Solid if unspectacular, had a few decent moments and was certainly better than anyone else who featured out wide today

1. Messi-Absolutely destroyed Lescott and got the better of Kompany tonight, looked absolutely lethal and was unlucky to come away with only one goal
2. Alba-Brilliant game from Alba, ran all night, had his usual assortment of brilliant interceptions and tackles and was great going forward, absolutely schooled Zabaleta
3. Iniesta-In his usual relaxed, stylish fashion, glided around the pitch, wriggling away from every challenge and did brilliantly to assist Alves's late goal
