1. Messi - Messi - Messi- *The* creative player today
2. Tello - Tello - Tello- made his runs at the right time. TBF, if Navas had been in goal, not sure if his shots would have gone in.
3. Pedro - best defender on the pitch. Threatened offensively, but isolated. Alves' just doesn't have the footballing brain to utilize Pedro's runs, space creation, passes. Oh, and Pedro seems the one Barça player who can actually cross to a target.

HM: Xavi
DM: Alves  opportunities galore to have an impact (crosses, through-balls, shots, runs), but nada.

Messi
Tello
Pedro

Hm, Song.

I'm sorry but I'm sick of saying it. Ronaldo isn't even close to Leo and never has been. I refuse to inflate his abilities just because he scores a lot- putting him in equal footing with Messi is an insult to football.
Marked by 5 guys? That's ok, I'll take a day off from being the best forward in the world and be one of the best midfielders, making amazing passes, holding onto the ball, beating players, creating space and single handedly setting up the others for goals. Ok? Cool.

Yes, you read it correctly. No Tello. Far from impressed by what he has shown.

I had to put Tello in, because he *did* make the right runs. But I think Navas would have stopped the first two goals (which were *not* well placed), and maybe the third. And on those two, Pedro was square (onside) and unmarked. The percentage play would have been to lay it on a carpet for Pedro to knock in.

Messi- superb vision and unplayable in the second half.
Tello- it's not just finishing. He timed his runs perfectly and finished without hesitation, keepers' faults should not hinder his promising performance, especially comparing some of his recent showings
Song- I think he had a monster game, flawless in defence, brought ball up quickly in the second half and stopped or slowed down most of the counters that Levante tried time to time pressing them to hoof the ball aimlessly upfront. He deserves more kind words in this forum.
