The game deciders:

1. Xavi- MOTM for the first half and assist on first goal, up until Elche down to 10-men
2. Messi - MOTM for the second half
3. Pique - great run and finish for the important first goal, and solid defensive work

HM:
Neymar- excellent finishes in the second half after game was won, and drawing fouls. Made up for poor control and wasted chances earlier.​

Terrible set-up today by Lucho, with Montoya/Rafinha/Mascherano. Not sure what he was after other than resting players. Neymar and Alba always isolated 2v2- where was Rafinha?? Mascherano just not anywhere as good as Busquets in supporting the forward game. Montoya mediocre. Best chances in first half came from Messi-Pedro combinations, drawing the fouls that lead to free kicks (Messi's near miss, and Xavi's assist to Pique).
