Points taken off Guardiola's City in the league

Looks like Ronald Koeman is the best manager in the world after all

Where is Birdy, he might recognise names #23 and #25

Also - managers who never lost a game against Pep in their previous meetings

Peo will stay in City if they are severely punished, as a way to support them.

OTOH, City has Alonso and Amorim as the top 2 choice to replace him.

Would like to see him coaching in Championship or League 2. It won't happen, lol.

Not that they will get that sever punishment.

I think Amorim will be the choosen one to replace him given they've signed Sporting SD. Xabi is Madrid bound imo.

Well, Pep started in Spanish 4th division. If they get relegated it will be almost like a hiatus year for him. He will gain from it as a loyal coach if anything.

I think Alonso is the top choice for anyone looking for a coach, it will be up to him to accept which job.

Last year he was Liverpool bound, Bayern bound, and people now suggest he must have rejected those for Madrid job, but maybe Alonso is just loyal to himself and his career and will accept the best offer (and that will be City for sure).

There's no mechanism by which they could end up in League Two. Even if the Premier League gives them a million point deduction it would still only mean relegation to the Championship. Personally I think they'll give them a 60 point deduction and they'll stay up.

Pep being stubborn with Lewis and Pussy probably had more to do with it. He probably got jealous of Flick going with youth and thought could do same.

Every tenure must come to an end. Mental fatigue with both manager and the team eventually creeps in.

Would be nice to see pep take on another challenge. Maybe in Serie A.
