Calma, calma
It's funny how we seem to have been the only club of note to have suffered such a ban. I am certain that several clubs around Europe have done exactly what we did. Strange.

Chelsea were also transfer banned a few years ago over illegally tapping up Gael Kakuta. A lot of clubs (including Barca) tap up players but they didn't get banned for it.

Lol why ? United are forcing him to stay even tho he wants to leave, who's the shit character here?

You don't leave the club that made you a star on a free transfer. I think he wants to stay one more year so he can earn himself a big fat signing bonus from Madrid, and that's kind of douchey on his part.

Man Utd should sign Leno or someone else and bench DDG :troll:

If he wants to go and Real pay up they should sell him, if he wants to go on a free for the supposed big signing bonus, then I absolutely would buy another top keeper and keep De Gea as a sub. Or tell him to play for the youth team, I see that's the United way these days.

De Gea signed a contract to play for United for a set number of years and there's nothing wrong with deciding not to renew and leaving once the contract expires. He's not obligated to play for United for any longer than he promised to. If anything he's been extremely professional about all this, he's expressed his desire to leave but he's not forcing the issue and doing everything he's expected to do as a player under contract. Wish more player would be like this instead of throwing hissy fits to get out of a contract they voluntarily agreed to.

As for the "United made him a star" comment that every United fan seems to be throwing about...don't pretend United turned him into a great player, he would have become a star no matter where he was at.

United have to face the reality of the situation. DDG wishes to leave them and play for Real Madrid (a club from DDG's country) Moreover, there is only one more year left on his contract. Since he only wishes to move to one club (hence no competition for his signature) and there is only one more season left on his contract, then United's bargaining power is practically reduced to zero. They either have to let him go for a small-ish signing fee, or see him walk away for absolutely nothing next summer.

As for Real Madrid. In their place, I would just leave DDG for one more season at United, then take him for free, rather than paying even a token sum this summer.

Yeah, I remember that, but if I am not mistaken, Chelsea's punishment was much less severe than ours.

How likely/unlikely is the possibility that RM get a transfer ban for next season though?

Have they ever been punished for anything? For the Di Stefano case? Free 500 million euros in 2001? Their acts of violence?
Even Rummenigge said our tranfer ban is unfair and way too harsh.
Fucking gangsters Perez and Blatter!

Did Dortmund face the reality when Lewandowski was in the similar situation? €25 million that real are offering means nothing to United considering we wasted similar amount on Falcao last season so unless they offer significant amount that United cannot pass up on, De Gea will not be joining them. United have nothing to lose in this scenario because De Gea isn't earning that much in wages and having an entire season to scout of his replacement would be good for us..

Dortmund are the hipster club and most people hate United so obviously dortmund did the right thing and we did the wrong thing haha.

Did you watch the game this morning?
