they really messed up by hanging on to ole when he kept failing. its a loss for both parties because conte (or any decent coach) wont succeed at spurs and united are now out of options for a good replacememt.

awful administration tbh

True but it was similar to Laporta hanging on to Koeman. Similar shitshow. Ole should have been sacked loooong time ago. The team didn't improve at all.

Failure from United and now their options are very slim. At least we got Xavi.

There is a good chance he gets fired next time he subs Messi off.
He might resign before, he wants to leave the toxic environment of PSG and always wanted to coach United since his Tottenham days

agree. i think zidane's a better fit at PSG, being a star himself. tbh i dont really rate Poch as a coach but i think hed do better at United than he will in Paris

Wise decision to wait until summer since few heavyweight options are available or willing to enter into a project mid-season. Only someone from within the club could do so, hence Xavi

Plus, there will be turnovers in summer providing more options to the Glazers. Pochettino makes the most sense although has to be acknowledged he has yet to demonstrate he is a winning coach. Zidane, IMHO, is a lock to take over at the Qatari club

As for United, their season is thrown into disarray now with a caretaker coach - 9 seasons post Fergie, they are still far from being the best in football much less in their own city

They need an interim who can steady the club. Time to get Ole back in, last time he was interim he won the first 8 games and won 14 out of 19 altogether.

Manchester United would reportedly need to pay ?10m compensation to PSG for Mauricio Pochettino

Qataris making money without taking the blame of sacking Poch.
Ideal scenario for them
