well I'm not going to comment on the Cesc tackle, it served as a "welcome to Barcelona! see what we're dealing with" message. I'm more talking about his kata kick in Leo's guts. it could have made an internal injury.

Yeah, that one astounded me even more than his judo scissor takedown of Cesc. Guy may have skillz, but that kind of conduct strips him of any respect.

There isn't a sane human being in that back line for the capital club, it's one lunatic after another

Marcelo scissor tackles haven't stopped either. He just did a reckless one against USA or Mexico, I can't remember which.

LOL, I hadn't thought about it, but:

Ramos - hothead
Pepe- out-of-control
Arbeloa- dirty
Marcelo- thug

Actually, all of them are dirty. I've seen everyone of them purposely try to injure a player when the ref wasn't (or was) looking.

Please, be careful what you say about Arbeloa especially, don't just lump him with the rest. Arbeloa is not dirty, he is just cheeky.

AS /Tribalfootball said:
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo called teammate Marcelo yesterday to assure him he wasn't offended by the Brazilian's remarks in the USA.

Marcelo claims he was mistranslated when declaring Barcelona ace Lionel Messi as the "best in the world".

He immediately went to Twitter, to say: "They have misinterpreted what I said. Messi was the last to receive the Ballon d'Or, but for me, no doubt, the best is Cristiano and this will not ruin my friendship with him. I am 100% CR7."

Ronaldo called his young teammate last night, says AS, to calm the situation down: "Marcelo, no problem. I believe you, you're my friend. Do not give importance. We are friends and we will not waste a minute on this."

BS but still funny.

My favorite is his kneeing (i.e. "brushing") Messi in the back of the head as Messi was sitting on the ground after tumbling on one of his runs. Messi was just sitting there recovering before getting up, and Arbeloa runs by to continue play, going out of his way to "accidentally" whack him.

EDIT: OOOPS! My bad. Not Arbeloa, that was another dirty Madrid player, Carvalho. Ya know, after awhile, all these jokers start to blend together.

Arbeloa is full of good intentions. When he stepped on Villa's leg for no apparent reason we though "He is a dirty fuck" but what he did is warn David that he will break it next season. Next season Villa broke it, coincidence? I dont think so...
