yeah but too bad they cashed out near the absolute maximum of their golden generation. could have done better in ligas but 4 CL wins in 4 CL finals is great return.
I still remember when Bayern were hyped to rule the decade with their "2 world class XIs" after the 2013 treble. now that's a missed opportunity

Ronaldo will be worth it. His shirt sales alone netted them 55M euros, & the season hasn't even started yet.
Real made a mistake by cashing out on him. Even if he is 33 y.o. , he is still one of the best finishers out there.

90% of money from shirt sales goes to their sponsors ( Nike /Adidas ) . Club doesn't get much . It's a myth
I knew that Sherlock, its the market standard for clubs is to get 10-15% of the actual sales.
But Juve's agreement with Adidas works a bit differently,

With this contract modifications Juventus gave up receiving a guaranteed additional of 6 millions, with the objective of acquiring more income through direct management of licensing and merchandising. This direct management includes not only a potential increase of income from sales, but also more costs and more investments that the club will have to make.
After doing all the math, they make around 79% of actual sales, so 79% of 52M is around 40-41M. That's a lot of money.
Plus, its not only about money. It was reported Real lost 1M subs and Juve gained 1.4M subs on IG, just after this transfer happened. And add to that the Ronaldo bandwagon fanboys, who follow Ronaldo irrespective of the club.
All in all, IT WAS WORTH IT.
