Our realistic targets are a pile of crap. Verratti is the only player we could get that would turn us into instant CL challengers (semi-finals at least). Crap like Parjeo and Deulofeu aren't going to cut it. Seri is what 26 and has only been playing well for one year now? So he's by no means a sure thing and who knows how Semedo/Bellerin play in our system.

That may well be, but Verratti is equal to no player at all, because he has a contract with a club which doesn't sell unless it wants to, not even for 120M€. And I would take Seri over what we have now.

Furthermore, the ONLY reason why people are waay more anxious than usual about what type of transfers can get us far in CL is because Real won it this year again - if we had won the league (few points more - or like, goalline-tech in the league) and Juve won, everybody would be much calm, when assessing our squad/possible transfers. It is not get Verratti or fall from the heights like Milan! We can get good enough players to compete for CL and win the league elsewhere.

Hahaha, now the agent - the one who infused everyone with hope - has come out and said that PSG won't sell under no circumstances, so they have to talk to them --> big payrise + extended contract incoming. At least it was a quick end to the 'saga' this summer - now we can concentrate on realistic targets.

...Or maybe we could get cheeky and place a bid on him.. What would tempt PSG?
How about 300M€? Or 500M€? We could also go crazy and bid 1000M€ - that would actually make them tempted I think, everything else is just a waste of time.

Says he is tired of Nasser and his promises that they will build a competitive team around him. Made this promises last year and now Monaco has beaten them in Ligue 1 and they got fucked by Barça.
