Marco Verratti

Plus Gomes out and Eriksen in.

I'd totally go for that. Not possible though. Eriksen would cost twice as much as Gomes. And what about Alena? If we sign two midfielders, his game time would be almost non-existent.

Go all in for Verratti and try to sign a RB with whatever funds we have left. If Verratti joins PSG in preseason, the deal is for sure off. Need to look at other options. So we'd probably have an answer next week in this story.

I very much doubt that we can sign a great player if we get through with Verratti.

Verratti would be enough,
We can survive with a defective RB position
Even if we have Douglas there, as long as Verratti plays RCM, we'll be alright

(Ofcourse we could still sign Soares from Southampton :D)

I think with those two behind him Messi wouldn't mind sticking to the right flank next season. Sure beats Rakitic/Gomes, Roberto combination he had to deal with this year. No wonder he moved behind Suarez.

Nasser Al-khelafi asked about Verratti not appearing in pre-season pics: "He's just not photogenic, we have others more suited for the spotlight." Sir but Di Maria... "Fuck you."

That's especially if we stick Verratti at RCM, because that will ensure Messi receives the ball as often as possible on his flank

There shouldnt be so much a rigid RCM next season. Someone like Verratti should be more like Xavi in following the ball more than that. Need much more fluidity than under Lucho for me.

Sure thing. All i am trying to say is Messi will benefit more with Verratti playing closer to him than not
