Not according to Laurent Blanc.

Blanc saw a not so good tired player on the field and decided to send him off.

That's the summary of what Blanc tried to explain during his press conference.

In Blanc's mind, Motta did way better.

I should stop supporting this club. Supporting this club is bad for one's health. You start self-facepalming so much that someday your head will do a 360.

- Blanc said that verratti is a player that camps in front of his 18 meters.
- Blanc wanted a player that can bring skills, passes.
- In Blanc's mind, Verratti is never playing in the opponent half.

What's-wrong-with-him. It's like he sees the opposite of what's everyone is watching. Seriously...

It really is ludicrous if that's what he really thinks.

Such a class player. An absolute joy to watch. He's always calm on the ball and gets out of the tightest of situations. His defensive contribution is huge also. He prevented Messi from shooting on 3 separate occasions with well timed tackles and he stopped Pedro on that counter attack, although Pedro did contribute to his own downfall a bit on that occasion.
