Strong in the tackle, solid distribution, has vastly improved in the air over the past 6 months, has looked good regardless of who he's paired up with at the back, doesn't get bullied, in short, he has all the qualities of a modern CB. He still has that 1 error per game in him, but so did Puyol until about 2004. Now I'm not saying he'll be a club legend like Puyol, what I mean is that he's progressing accordingly with his age.

When you play for a top team, it doesn't look good to appear wearing another team's shirt.
