BTW, since I wrote a full analysis above, let's recall his goals in 22/23

As you can see, it's not that he scores tap-ins only...
There are some wondergoals in his skillset

3 of the last 4 seasons he's been dog shit but did have the 22/23 season where he was very good.

I get the impression it's basically all down to his attitude whether he decides he wants to be of any use or not.

He could have the ability of Maradona and I wouldn't take Rashford for free because that ability would be useless coupled with Rashford's mentality.

And he doesn't have the ability of Maradona. He has the ability of ...... Parcus Pashford PMBE.

If our Special Olympics Sporting Department inflict this travesty upon the club then I'm oot. :frenkie:

Relax dude

Our Special Olympics SD has inflicted upon you:
- FDJ for 90m and obscene wages
- 35 yr old Lewa for 50m and obscene wages
- Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix because they had Mendez as an agent
- Marcos fuckn Alonso
- Hector fuckn Bellerin

just for starters

And Laporta is ready to inflict upon you LEao for 150m

Chill a little bit.
Our SD can do much worse things than take a bet on loan on a WC skillset that has devalued itself

The problem is most of his goals come on the counter-attack and he's poor against a low block. Also, praising Rashford for his goalscoring is a dangerous game as he's a moments player and generally hides his total anonymity with one moment in a game.

Barca tend to play against low blocks so he's the very last player you need. You have been burned with these sorts of players before.

Also, you are taking an outlier of a season (22-23) where he actually scored in bursts in the league over 10 games (10 league goals in 10 games and 7 in total either side) and padded his stats with EL and Carabao Cuo goals.

This guy has banana skin written all over him. He's one of the most overrated players I have ever seen and is really a mid-table player with the PR of a top player. Never has so much been written about such a mediocre player. Barca have enough financial problems without getting involved with his insane salary and lack of ability.

I don't know what Birdy sees in this guy - I have watched him most weeks since 2016 and he's an absolute nothing player. The amount he gets talked about you'd think he was Messi, though.

Poor first touch, poor technically, only good at running in behind high lines or cutting in and shooting (usually badly). Had one, max two good season in his career. Birdy is taking his highest point (22-23 season, and even that was overrated as I illustrated on previous pages) and extrapolating ut as if it is the norm - it's the exception.

Birdy you normally slag off Mbappe. This guy is the poor man's Mbappe (very poor man's) so why are you talking him up? He's a nothing player and if Barca sign him (which they won't, this is all pie in the sky hypothetical stuff) it's a vast step backwards.

And no, he doesn't have a 'world-class skillset' - he's totally reliant on pace, poor technically as I said, and needs space to work in. All things that DO NOT suit Barcelona.

Don't buy the 'Man United academy player' hype. He's average at best. Anyone silly enough to sign him deserves everything they get.
