I've seen eto'o's goal. I believe caceres was still thinking that Eto'o was his teammate.

ESPN Latin America named him the MoM in the Juventus - Inter game... I only saw the first half and he wasn't bad, he was playing on the right and was good but not spectacular... Does anyone know if he really deserved to be MoM or was just a biased opinion?

well considering Juve has Chil & Cannavaro in the center and Inter play with no wingers i don't see it as a tough job to stop an occasional Muntari . a bit like giving Valdes a 10 cause the other team had zero shots on goal

I mentioned maybe a month ago in this thread or another about Caceres that he was playing really well. Someone disagreed or said he wasn't even playing...when he was He's been starting all the games the few last weeks and has been pretty consistent...

I was replying to the person that posted above me. He claimed Caceres has been a first team regular for a while now.

I suppose being a defender in Juventus is really easier to be a defender in Barca. Even if he doesn't join Juventus in the summer he'd probably fail to impress again in Barcelona. It's different to be a defender here.

Au contraire my dear friend. Listen, we all agree that the key to our finish of the season was due to elimination of Mallorca in the Copa Del Rey, it ended our bad patch. And yeah yeah, Pinto deserves a tiny bit of credit for stopping that penalty.

But who was at the basis of that penalty? Indeedy boys, Caceres. He felt it was time for a revolution that Pep couldn't bring. He took that red like a man, offered himself for the team. You can have a brilliant youth system, a Ballon D'or, a tridente that scores 100 goals a season, ... but the only reason we won the treble is, very much, Martin Caceres.
