caceres was always a waste of money signing by txiki/laporta. pep never wanted him and he failed to impress.
he's got amazing potential but as beast said when we signed him, he's stupid and makes bad decisions. he may grow out of that, but we've got a wealth of talent coming through at CB so frankly we don't need to keep such a "maybe" player on the books.

I don't think a few cameo appearances is enough to determine the quality of a player......................................................for me at recreativo he was 1 of the best defenders in La Liga, complete with shades of Sergio Ramos. He was never given a opportunity to get into some form and gain confidence in his won abilities. Neither was Hleb, he wasn't allowed to show case his talents and even then in the most meaningless of games. Even when we were down to the bare bones, our new signings were over looked, Pep preferred to play players out of position which amazed me. Therefore it would be a unfair to label either player as bad signings based on brief appearances when the evidence is clear that they obviously have quality.

You know Beast, it really hurts me to admit it but so many culés (including me) full our mouths with "better than thou" rhetoric, especially when it comes to Madrid's spending sprees... And it's sad to see we are not any better, probably this could start a shit storm and other members calling me a fake fan/supporter, but the overall arrogance and mindset of some of Barça fans is becoming absurd and clearly not congruent with what their mouths say...

Ibra deal was always gonna be a fuck up. I remeber LA Lakers guy and I were vociferous about it along with Bojan. All of us felt Eto was treated badly and Ibra would be a waste. Well-we were right!
