Clearly photoshopped.
Here's the original from Camp Nou:

Oh well, end of hopes for me. I wish him big success there, but even more so, I hope we'll trash them this season.

Looks like we're fucked. Madrid depth will win them la liga, and that awesome bayern team will win the CL.

Just read it. Funny as hell, but then again it's common for footballers to make corny ass comments to big up their peers

And it's an AS story so it may well be completely made up.

Seriously, I'd rather pay over the top for quality than pay for mediocrity the club love to sign from time to time like Song and Douglas.

As Chief of Footballing matters I agree with the president. Combine the money we spent on mediocraty like Song, Vermaelen and Mathieu and we could have a world class player with change to spare.

Lately everyone will "win" Ballon'D'Or.

Some fans asked last year whether Adama has the chance to win Ballon'D'Or in his career.
A few days ago, Roma included an option in Gerson's deal: "If he wins Ballon'D'Or."
Lol...

Every semi-decent player who played 5 good matches or made 3 good dribbles is hailed as the next Messi or a future Ballon'D'Or winner.
Media are guilty for that, but also, fans from all teams are "desperate" for new gems/new stories every Season.

People want dreams and hopes. Media is jumping on that train and selling papers.
Unfortunately, 2-3 years later, football world (and forums) is filled with 100s of "next Messi's" who failed to reached their "potential", and fans are shaking their heads and wonder where did it all go wrong?

I think part of the reason is because this is the Messi (and Ronaldo) era, that no other player has come close to winning it. It hasn't happened in the past that players have been able to keep top level consistently for such a long time. Once they retire/decline, it seems like the award will be "up for grabs" and we'll likely see a different winner every year.

That's my interpretation.
