Shame on anyone who actually thinks Marquinhos is better than Hummels. Hummels has performed at the highest level consistently where as Marquinhos had one good season in Serie A and half a good season at PSG while playing like 2 Champions League matches. I wouldn't bat an eyelash if we spent a lot on Hummels.

Marquinhos is obviously younger but Hummels isn't a grandpa either. I'd gladly take Marquinhos for 20-25 million but not 40.

I agree.

However Marquinhos shined heavily in a Zeman team, which is all-out attack kamikaze shit, and that is very impressive. Especially for somebody so young at that time.

Not his fault he doesn't have more seasons under his belt. But it's far more of a gamble than somebody like Hummels, for sure

It's not like TS and people should understand that.

Concerning TS, we had :

- His agent denying a transfer
- Himself denying it right after.

Concerning marquinhos, EVERYTHING points to the fact that he wants to leave. And his "I am currently a PSG player, PSG is gonna decide" is called diplomacy more than anything else.


I still think Nasser will sell him and I am confident barcelona will pay big money for it. If Nasser managed to sell sakho for 20-25M euros, i dont see Marquinhos leaving for under 35-40M.
