100% agree, but there is a little twist there.
Apparently City are rumored to be after him, and will try to sign in January and loan back till summer (same with FDJ) so I won't be surprised if we have to enter an auction for him in January thanks to Txiki

The article is a bit confusing but they are after both. And both clubs have alternative for midfield (Rabiot for us and Tanguy Ndombele for them)
I just hope City won't go full crazy for De Ligt.

If Man City are seriously in for both then we can already forget them. With how slowly things move in Barcelona they'll already be in Manchester signing their Man City contracts while singing Blue Moon Rising while Barca are sending in their first bid :lol:

Fucking annoying how Pep/City keeps fishing in the same pond where we seem to be.
The worst part is I think we should strike name, make a summer deal with Ajax for both and be done with it. But I dont trust our board, chasing Pogba signing Rabiot and presenting Pique as our new signing a la Puyol is more likely sadly.

We shouldn't be surprised. City plays Barca type game, but just faster.

It's an open market. Which other players have Man City signed that we wanted? Gabriel Jesus and that's it I believe.
