Busquets is biased and I do believe we definitely should sign one of de Jong or Ndombele. Both are such dynamic midfielders that can play both as CDM and CM, capable of breaking lines, got great acceleration and decent dribbling to get past players and defensive instincts on top of it.

I want us to try out Alena and Puig down the road, but if you got a chance to sign a supremely talented midfielder like those two that are showing their class vs top opposition then you should do it.

I like Oriol Busquets, but I don't think he's going to make it as a starter, he's a far less talented version of Sergio and Lord knows we need more pace and dynamism in our midfield instead of these stationary type of midfielders.

We need to cash in on one of our midfielders this summer, probably Rakitic as he offers the highest value. Hopefully the next manager will know to phase out Busquets too.

Not saying de Jong or Ndombele currently are better than Ivan, but I think the team is perfectly capable of functioning without him going forward. We did so without Xavi and Iniesta and Rakitic is not even 1/10th of the importance they were to the team.

Maybe he is. In fact, I've been advocating Ndombele since he came on the scene so I'm not gonna argue with that. But I definitely don't like the idea of spending the whole budget on 2 youngsters. That's all. Right now, we can't be smart. First we need to see what happens with Dembele and Malcom.

There is no way Messi is going to be benched so Malcom and Dembele should just leave. There is no position for them. I dont think that has anything to do with midfield reinforcements which are definitely needed. I think there is a huge difference between segunda level players from Barca B and players who dominate some of the best teams in the world at a young age. I dont think we should use their young age against them and refuse to sign them.

I don't see them as promising. They both play on very high level against any opposition already. They can get even better, of course, but it's far from signing guys who've only shown potential.

I wonder why catalans are so passive in the doings of the sports club that is almost like their emblem. Is there ever any sot of vocal discord in Barcelona about how things are being done with the club? It seems to me that the club is really more like an attraction for random tourists and not a flagship of small angry province. I would punch Barto in the face if i was a catalan and saw him walking down the street. Fucking up what could be such a great legacy in such a short term.

This will give them the edge over us and City I believe, a lot of money for Ajax to reject.

What are the heck are we doing? If we need to spend money somewhere this is it.

Bayern wont pay that and who would chose them over us or City.. Bundesliga isn't exactly ambitious. it would be better than them going to PSG though.

if the next question is why.. im afraid i cannot answer that

this summer really will show our boards ambition; go for cheap workhorses or go hard and get 2 of the most talented youngsters in their positions
