He's still young and has room to grow but no one will pay 150m for him. And even if he costs like 80m, I wouldn't pay that for him if I were in charge of Barcelona. There are players at his level or even better that are cheaper.

If you say de Ligt made the wrong move, the same can be said about de Jong. He didn't even win the league either.

I think it is safe to say that people were more impressed by them during their last year at Ajax but it is normal, they need to settle in a new professional and private environment.

His season arguably was better than de Jong's. But I'm not talking about that. Juve is in a worse shape than Barca at the moment.
They've got some good players here and there but most of them are not at de Ligt's level of talent.

And I'm certain most top clubs would still pay 75M for de Jong today, no doubt.
