What formation? Mind naming your starting 11(the one most likely)....??

3 4 3??

Upa MDL Lucas

Mazroui Kimmetzka Phonzie

Coman Mane Gnabry/Sane

Where will Muller play then??

you got it right, dont know what Nagelsmann plan for the front 3 is; I think the only one that is a guranteed starter is Mane the rest will rotate.

Gravernbach surely has a chance to get some minutes from Goretzka too?

Yes. Goretzka is injury prone and Nagelsmann is tactically flexible and likes to experiment with new formations at times. Can even play a midfield 3 in some games.

One thing I have personally observed is that Kimmich is a much better with Goretzka beside him than without.

I don’t know if I agree with that last bit. For example Kimmich and Gundogan looked better than Kimmich-Goretzka for Germany, complimented each other’s game better. I saw one game where Goreztka made like 8 passes.

He almost strikes me as a midfielder who wishes he was a striker.

Can be class when on form though.

Biggest summer for Bayern in a while, they spent 120m already on three transfers (Mane, Gravenberch and De Ligt without the variables so far), the last time they spent a lot of money was 80m on Lucas Hernandes and 35m on Pavard a few years ago.

Sad to see we contributed 45m to their coffer.

Mazraoui-De Ligt-Upamecano-Davies

is a great back-4

Bayern spent a lot this summer and upgraded their squad substantially.
The most improved squads next season are gonna be Barca's and Bayern's it seems...

Bayern outdid us in my opinion, their defense and midfield have been beefed up a lot, at least in theory. They already have great defenders like Lucas Hernandes and Upamecano, the latter although prone to some errors here and there, are very good. I have questions about the quality of Mazraoui and De Ligt but they might do well there. Gravenberch is great. Offensively how effective Mane will be being a CF remains to be seen, certainly Lewandowski is hard to be replaced.

For us, I feel our midfield and defense haven't been really improved that much. If we get Kounde, it will be a great reinforcement. Not convinced about Kessie and Christensen yet.

Mazraoui is insanely average, which I guess is good in this fullback market :p

Upamecano has been horrible so far, but I guess the potential is there. A lot to prove in their back four. De Ligt as well, but I think he's quality. Same as Davies, who had a rough last year though.

Also shout out to serial losers Tottenham Hotspur. They’ve done some good business with Bissouma, Perisic,Kulusevski permanently, Richarlison and a back up keeper for Lloris in Lenglet.

Our squad depends on alot of variables in midfield. How much can Pedri and Gavi improve predominantly, who are both so young.

The gap was so big between us and Bayern last year though. This year's will be smaller. A bit like the gap between Madrid and Chelsea, City and PSG yet Madrid won the CL because of the xfactor of Benzema- which we hope Lewandowski will be.
