Nope. You still fail to explain why De Jong is better than Busquest at CDM in this thread. It is pretty much relevant.

I mean Puig is a great talent but man the fanaticism around him is really something though.

I mean not even the likes of Samper, Grimaldo, Adama got anywhere near the Fanaticism Puig is currently getting. I believe in Puig but damn man there are some fans out there that think he's some Midfield god that we are intentionally knee Capping.

This could be true with the amount of hate or odd excuses why he shouldn't play. This is not new. If we go back even before QS, you will find so may posters doubting him just because he is skinny, even one poster would rather have Keira Knightley in the team over Puig, some of the above posters were part of "he is too skinny to make it" crew. Why no one is talking of such extreme views?

Then when he had an impressive run under QS, the same people disappeared because Puig proved them wrong and they are too proud to acknowledge it. Of course some posters changed their mind and could see Puig as a gem.

An example of this extreme odd behavior is this weird Vaginatot poster, he was Puig biggest fan when he joined this forum. Now Cowman dropped him for no apparent reason, he flipped 180 degree and became Puig's biggest basher. :lol: And not to mention JamDav with his borderline personality disorder joining the hater crew.

We are so used to spend hundred of millions on lemons like Coutinho and forgot the value of homegrown talents. Young Samper and Adama can't hold a candle to Puig.

Who disappeared? I don't remember a group people heavily criticizing Puig and then being proven wrong.
