I like him, loves the club and is determined to succeed and seems to get on great with his teammates and is a good player to bring on for the last 20 min or so but not good enough to start at the moment.

The criticism is way over the top, I don't understand why some hate him so much, but they will have to get used to Puig, I don't seem him leaving any time soon.

Everyone will have to get used to it.

Could be those who dont rate him or those that do still wanting him to play more.

It might come as a surprise to some but I like Puig as well but at the same time he is overrated. I am completely fine with him staying and think he can be useful in situations.

Pedri will become the better player though. Same goes for Yusuf. That much is very clear to me. But if Riqui wants to stay here and work his ass off and fight for minutes I respect that.

He's scored two goals this pre-season tbh and I remember a good long-shot from him back in 19/20 vs Alaves that hit the woodwork. He looks much more willing to shoot now. Could be a Rafinha situation, that one was Ronaldinho in pre-season.

Don't know if it was the right decision though, he looked quite one-footed to me before and this might've just been a very lucky strike.

I posed a hypothetical, comparing the general logics and sentiments that tend to be invoked when these respective players do good or bad things because as I see it there's a dissonance.

Yep because when Puig plays a side way pass to Roberto it is a rare pass that most Barca player can not do but when Pedri made a volley pass from his half way line to his teammate or did a sombrero in Olympic final, it was wasteful.
