If Xavi had taken charge for the 20/21 season then yeah he’d probably be given more chances, depending on how he performed of course.
But since then, he’s had the double impact of a) both Gavi & Nico coming through who are younger and better and b) the lack of playtime from no loan move.

Kinda funny during the height of the Puig craze which ironically was during the Elections, Victor Font was like "Xavi told me he would make Puig a starter if he comes"
Ended up being Xavi seeing what everyone else saw and decided it's best for Puig to look for an exit for the sake of his career. Sucks for Puig but shit happens, the likes of Pedri, Gavi, Nico are simply so much better and younger than he is.
