Signed a +1 year contract with PSG today, till summer 2016.
Great stuff imo. He's not young anymore but still 100 times better than Lucas Digne. And PSG can't afford to chase after a LB this summer.
Why can't PSG afford to chase a LB this summer? Jordan Amavi($10-$15m) could be had for relatively heap, and Paris has $75m to spend before having to sell.

They want to keep every penny to try to buy a big star.
Keep in mind "big" can range from Dybala to Pogba here according to french medias.
That's why they don't plan to seek any full back this summer according to the last news.
Even if VdW leaves (which can happen because QSI is against renewing him), they will either keep aurier or put marquinhos on the right for a long time/
That said, there's one case what you said can happen: If Digne is sold.
It can happen too, because Digne faced bad news today:
- He won't replace Maxwell anytime soon like he hoped.
- He's not called by Deschamps for the next France friendlies.
- He needs to play more if he wants to be part of the next EURO. It won't happen at PSG because there's Maxwell who's way better than him.

Thanks for the info, too bad about Digne. Thought he'd be better than he's turned out to this point, but there's still time I guess. On the other hand, adding Pogba would be awesome if he's available, but It'd be a shame if we lost out on Amavi to an EPL side. Really believe he's on his way to being one of the best LB's in the world alongside Alaba and Rodriguez.
Who all do you believe leaves this summer; VDW, Motta, Lavezzi?

BTW, your wish from a few weeks ago might come true. Sirigu is so bad this season, that no one excludes anymore that next season the coach (blanc or another) could start Areola.
Sirigu still hasn't renewed and it might never happen if he continues with his horrible performances.

Sirigu is doing well in goal, but his distribution is letting him down this season. I still think he's a great keeper though.

Really? That'd be awesome. He'd certainly deserve it with his performances this season. Would they look to add another keeper for depth or are they comfortable with one of Maignan or Diaw as long term backups?

No he isn't this season, not even close. He did so many mistakes. He's not as quick anymore, and even it is felt in the whole defense.
DL and TS have so little trust in him right now that they prefer to go for any balls than letting him do the job as it was seen against Bordeaux when TS went for the ball despite Sirigu trying the same.
The whole defense is nervous because of him.

yeah really.
Even Blanc is mad at him the whole time.
RMC journalists usually are just behind where Blanc stands, and the last 10 games or so, according to them, Blanc just keeps swearing and getting mad at Sirigu because he doesn't do anything right.
Many people even expect Blanc to start Douchez soon if it continues.
