Wow I am genuinely surprised with some of the posts in this thread. Ronaldo was special for sure and that great season he had for us will stay for me till I die and will always brign a smile to my face, but Messi is on a totally different planet.

He is now up there with Maradona and Maradona left Pele in the shade many moons ago.

i agree interfan, the fact messi is being compared to ronaldo, possibly the GREATEST striker that ever lived, is stupid. messi has won a cl and has been very good in recent years no doubt, but is still some distance behind ronaldo.

Im stupid i though this poll was referring to CR, for some reason I didn't read the whole thing sorry lol but in this case my vote goes to Ronaldo but the fact that Messi is compared to him and other greats speaks for itself, i hope he can have a successful career full of trophies and bring us more happiness.
