Michy Batshuayi

He's going to be the next young striker from Ligue 1 going for a huge fee. He or Lacazette, or both.

No. He is good but not a futur star. His stupid intervention cost a penalty against his team after a good goal. Neither Lacazette in fact. A good striker, but not the same potential than a Fekir, Martial or Ntep.

I disagree, I'm certain Michy is going to be as awesome as his name. The immaturities in his play I attribute to his turning 22 years old two days ago, things that will be worked out with time, but his attacking record is undeniable: 13 goals and 2 assist in 1500 minutes at OM.

He has everything you want to see in a young striker; poise, technical proficiency, vision, the ability to play with his back to the goal, etc. Never mind his athleticism which is top class all around. As for Lacazette? He scored 42 goals the last two seasons, and he'll score again. He's been in poor form since his injury, but he's working it out. Still an awesome player.

Just picked up his 8th goal of the season giving him the loan lead as Ligue 1's top scorer. His fee will be steep if he keeps this up.

edit: Added an assist. 8 goals, 3 assist on the season.

Marseille will probably let him leave for free anyway.

Never gets called up for the national team.. so weird. Then again, Wilmots.
Not calling Batshuayi up because he isn't in form but selecting Origi who - at that time - hadn't started a single game shows exactly how subjective Wilmots is.
I worry at times that this will affect Michy's motivation to play for Belgium

exactly, Wiltmots is arrogant. As far as goalscoring is concerned i rate Batshuayi the highest of all of Belgium's strikers.

How comes that he was ignored by Belgium NT for so long time if Batshuayi's that good?

Just wondering because I haven't watched him Before...

Wilmots prefers strikers like Benteke, target-men so to speak who occupy the centerback and create room for the attacking midfielders. Batshuayi is a different sort of striker.
