Subbed in, plays as defensive LB essentially. Zhegrova seems a bit too much for him, but he is too much for almost the entire league.

Yeah, he isn't doing well so far, fans don't like him that much there.
He is still young at 20, and can obviously turn things around, and could very well do so.
But I think it was fair assessment from the club to do the deal, as he wasn't ready for the first team in Barca.
A side note: His height is now listed on Rennes official website at 1.83m, 3 cm shorter than his listed height when he joined (check first page).
Not bad by any mean, but kind move him into average height CB than a big guy.
