Mikel Merino

With his contract up in a season, there are rumours we are looking to sign him with a central defender going the other way (Le Normand seems Atleti bound).

Lenglet or Inigo would ease the salary burden more so then Faye or Eric (SPORT mentions all 4). So let's see if something comes to fruition.

We always try to include our trash in these deals but it never works becasuse no one wants our Lenglets. Maybe they would be interested in Faye, not the others.

I like Merino and hope we go for him if we can. He would bring some muscles to our midfield even if he's not a DM. Would rather go for his partner at Real but he would be to expensive.

Inigo might lower his salary for his old club if he gets a longer contract too. A 2 year contract can better than 1 then retirement.
I don't feel that Faye is Imanol type of defender, but I might be wrong.

I doubt they'd want him back after player for bilboa, lenglet fits perfectly, but those wages.

Lenglet should pony up and finally piss off to SA.

Eric Garcia should have a Prem move still in him. Hopefully some cliche Spanish manager there like Emery gives him a holla.

Not a chance Real's fans welcome back that traitor (for them at least) and he won't give up that salary that Laporta gave him.

No one from our club will go to Real for Merino, these bullshit rumors appear all the time and they never are true.

Not unless we pay a portion of his wage. We reportedly paid 3m of Lenglet's wage while at Villa.

Football fans are fickle, an apology and a few good performances and al will be forgiven. Probably.

Faye + 10m for Merino.

also include a buy back for Mika. I could live with that.

They won't take back Inigo and even less Lenglet on his wages, lol. Eric maybe but he doesn't have that much value.

Anyway, these swap deals are always unlikely to happen.

Let's finish this early so we all can rest and enjoy the transfer window with ridiculous rumors.
Though I don't like Arsenal are behind him. Lets see what happens.

Honestly much costlier than I thought.

Was talk of 20m.

Might be that PL club tax though.
