Koeman: "Pjanić, like everyone else, has to wait for his chance. He has a lot of competition and only eleven players can play. He has to prove that he's useful."

Christ, Koeman doesn't mince his words  Ultimately history has shown if Koeman is unsure of you, it's extremely difficult to win him over.

I'll actually take the L here for defending the Arthur Pjanic deal.

But I never thought we would get a player even worse than Arthur.

Like he's legit horrible

My biggest worry was we ended up with a poor man's Busi with the same damn problems and sure enough, we did. Good moments with the ball like Busi, but decaying rapidly at everything else like Busi.

This wasn't some Money Laundering deal, when I was following the rumors, apparently, Abidal wanted him the most, and Cat Radio said according to a memo they have seen stated they thought getting Pjanic would bridge the gap between the Vets and Youngsters. There were also those weird articles that Pjanic was going to be some sort of leader, leading the next generation of Barca Players and be seen as some sort of influential figure.

Feels like the warning signs were all there. Juventus fans were constantly bitching about him, articles claiming he wasn't doing well at all in training and struggled with the intensity when he got here. I thought he would need at least some time to get up to scratch but a number of his appearances and the fact the guy can't even challenge Busi for a spot and even had Alena come on before him in a couple of games it's pretty clear the rumors about him are true.

What a waste of time and Money we have wasted on him. I'd rather us sell him assuming if it is possible and find a good B2B Midfielder.

Yeah Pjanic is so much done, he was worldclass in 16-17 but since then he declined as fast as possible.

He has better passing than Busi (quicker) and better kick. He is just as slow and worse defensively than Busi.. I think vs parked busses he is more useful than Busi but that's about it. He can't play vs any top side. Simply too slow.

Play him vs teams who park the bus.

Yeah no... It was purely a creative accounting move. Anything else is just bullshit and yes it was always going to be a bad deal for us.
