Lol @ Ronaldo acting all mad. There are at least 4-5 players at this World Cup who will eventually break the record anyway.

yup now ones like Messi's record for most goals in a calender year or most goals in a season etc those are unreachable.
If Muller keeps up this WC form he'll break the record the next WC

Muller and Klose, players that aren't really THAT good yet one holds the WC scoring record and one will probably break it. Great NT players though.

lol wot. granted Klose never showered himself in glory during his time at the top with Bayern, but you'd have to be incredibly nearsighted to say Muller isn't a great player.

I've never really seen what the fuss is about. I don't think he's bad or anything, but I don't think he's all that either. For Germany he is, his record speaks for itself.

Lots of teams payed the price for thinking that. Muller is a very deceiving player. He doesn't have the aura of a Suarez for example, but damn, he can punish you in a heartbeat if you don't give him your complete atention in defence.

He is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, at certain things though.. and those are finishing and positioning. I know El Phenomeno was more pleasant to look at, but Klose is good at scoring goals and therefore he deserves the record lol

His finishing is great for Germany, he's nothing special at club level. He's a good, clinical striker, but there have been better.
