No ballon d'or

It depends on who wins the CL.
With Barca (Raphinha) Real (Mpabbe) or Bayern (Kane) it is over for him, maybe PSG with Dembele but I doubt it tbh. Those teams are obviously the main contenders atm.

But teams like Inter, Atletico or Arsenal winning it and Salah will get the bdor most likely.

Also, would the club world cup have a factor? It will be the last tournament before the voting with many contenders and good teams. For now it sounds far fetched but you never know.

Diaz got a lot of room 1v1 today as they pushed over on Salah.

He couldnt take advantage at all.

It should have been more danger from him the amount of times he had Hakimi 1v1.

Don't know man. Even if it happens that there's an unexpected winner with not so many star players, after this performance over two legs I don't think many people would vote for him. This is not ballon d'or level, far far below it actually and it's been hidden for good chunk of the season and only waiting to be exposed against a true opponent.

Unless he goes absolutely nuclear in the remaining PL games (i.e smashing both the goal and assist record by a mile) he is already out of the picture, the UCL simply holds too much weight for the award nowadays, there is also no international competitions this year so that angle is dead too for him.
