Messi being the better finisher and playing with better players against probably weaker teams so far would expect him to be far better.

How does Salah compare to Mane etc?

A one of one or a tap in from a yard could still be classed as 'big chances' would think. It is still not a clear cut thing.

The problem is finishing has always been a problem for Salah. Since his Roma days. And hence I said he can’t finish his breakfast.

A big chance missed is just a chance missed when a player should really have scored. Happens to everybody, but Salah fluffs them more often. He gets into good scoring positions though no doubt.

What are Salahs big chances vs Mane?

A big chance could be a one on one or a tap in it is not anything exact. If a player plays for a team that provides even easier big chances than they will miss less clearly.

I like this guy. He's a nifty little player.

Never expected him to be scoring as much as he is. Also happy for Egypt to have a star player like him. Biggest Egyptian talent in forever.

Salah in only Serie A last season:

Games played - 31
Goals - 15
Shots per game - 2.1
Big chances missed - 16

Mane in only Premier League last season:

Games played - 27
Goals - 13
Shots per game - 1.4
Big chances missed - 3

Salah in only Premier League this season:

Games played - 8
Goals - 4
Shots per game - 3.1
Big chances missed - 5

Mane in only Premier League this season:

Games played - 5
Goals - 3
Shots per game - 2.2
Big chances missed - 1

That said, Salah over a season will also create a lot of chances. His problem is finishing and always has been. You should watch a few of Liverpool's games to get what I'm talking about.

Had a quick look at whoscored for Italian league last season and he was one of the top players for chances to goals ratio amongst the top scorers.
