He's played well in some of them - in 2022 for example he had a few good shots - one in particular that he took the ball out of the air and shot into the top corner, but Courtois produced a stunning save. Fine margins. Totally forgotten now but a few inches less of a leap and he wins the game and is lauded as a hero.

11 finals is a lot. However, I fully understand that hysterical football fans think you can't have a decent game these days as an attacker if you don't score.

Also, 'clutch' is the most cringeworthy, Americanised, Gen Z term. Well it was until 'he's him'. Kids these days.

Unless he goes absolutely nuclear in the remaining PL games (i.e smashing both the goal and assist record by a mile) he is already out of the picture, the UCL simply holds too much weight for the award nowadays, there is also no international competitions this year so that angle is dead too for him.
If his overall stinker vs PSG wasnt enough this ghosting session in a cup final has sealed it, he would be lucky to even get a podium finish.

The "Big 6" is the Premier League's biggest hoax, massive cope narrative created to hide the fact that PL clubs were embarrassing in Europe for more than a decade before the late 2010s, half of these "big" English clubs were mid-table at best for most of that period, imagine telling anyone with a straight face that games against post-2015 United, pre-2023 Arsenal or Spurs (with the exception of like 2 seasons) are big games comparable to the actual pinnacle of club football aka UCL KOs :lol:
