Munir El Haddadi

I don't think he's too young, whenever he touches the pitch he scores, Messi debuted at 17 not saying he's messi but a 20 min run out against a relegation site after we're up 3 will do him some good, you never know what someone will do if you give them a chance, look at the two extremes in messi and bojan for instance.

this, unfortunately we haven't seen any of it the last 2 seasons

And that's because we are no longer able to control the game and Tata just didn't dare to risk. Remember 2-3 vs Valencia in Camp Nou? When we play badly this team seems to break down at any time.

Suarez coming opens the door for Munir/Dongou/Sandro to actually have a chance of breaking into the first team. Because we no longer have to worry about them being good enough to displace Messi.

Yeah anyway Suarez will get banned for at least 10 games a season. They will get chances to shine. Adama and deulofeu will get chances too if Sanchez leaves.

:worthy: :worthy: Such a brilliant player.

His progression this season has been extraordinary for Juvenil A and rising up to Barca B. Everything Barcelona could possibly want in a #9 prospect. What's great for him is that he doesn't have any truly glaring flaw in his overall game (much unlike Deulofeu or Adama) and seamlessly adapts to different situations with his versatility and wide array of abilities. Dongou and Sandro have nothing on him. One of the most exciting talents on the verge of the first team.

I like the way Munir shoots. Fast, straight to the corner, without much hesitation. Quite similar to Villa actually. That's the kind of scorer you can count on in big games.

He just literally exploded this past season. Massive talent. You look at his game and you think he's got everything. Pace, cold-blooded finishing, headers, magnificent passes, good first touch, tricky dribbling, great control on the ball...

Honestly, with the way Pedro has been playing for years now, and the way Alexis had been playing prior to the 2013/14 season, there's little reason why we shouldn't be able to promote him, as crazy as that sounds.

I mean, can you conceivably imagine him doing less per game than Pedro? I'm really hoping Lucho gives him minutes akin to Pep with Thiago. It could honestly REALLY help the team out.

If Munir gets invited up to preseason, I wouldn't be surprised if Lucho actually did. Within a few months of becoming appointed at Celta, he moulded Rafinha to be his star man in central midfield. By September, he was already accelerating the progress of Santi Mina (Celta's own extremely young striker prospect) and gave him a surprisingly high amount of game time. He had gotten Hugo Mallo back to the great form he showed way back before the ACL injury he suffered against Ronaldo. Even Fontas became a decent looking player under him. Also, Lucho gave some non-star youngsters like David Costas and Jonny Castro a lot of chances and made them into better players.

Competition is obviously higher at Barca than at Celta Vigo but there is a route that allows it to happen. First off, some of our better attacking players (Messi/Neymar) will probably have long WC runs so have extended vacations and miss a chunk of preseason. Munir will get to train with the first team and maybe even play in some friendlies, getting exposure to Lucho's system right from the start. Then, assuming that Suarez comes and Alexis leaves which is looking more likely each day, we'll have one starter from our front line banned for a couple of months. If Munir gets off to a flying start with the B team (which is more likely than not) then he'll have the room to get regular call-ups to train and maybe even make his debut. Throughout those months we'll have throwaway matches in the CL and CDR where the B team will feature and all of this in totality gives Munir a chance to make an impression on Enrique and get some attention. After that he'll be favored to come up during injury cases, during rotation spells, etc. just to accumulate as much exposure and as many minutes as possible.

Sandro was absolutely killing it in the Juvenil A before his ACL injury. After that he hasn't gotten very many chances for the B team.

Also, Sandro got nearly as many goals as Dongou this year despite having far fewer appearances.
