Such a beast already and still so much room for improvement. He needs to keep working hard and he'll rise big.

My boy . It seems like just yesterday that if I mentioned his name to the average Barcelona fan I'd receive a dumbfounded look and a blunt "who?" in response. Now he's skyrocketed through all the levels of the club and scored on his well earned debut start. He is well on his way to becoming a household name for us. His finish from that angle was awesome, if only that cannon on the post had gone in as well.

He's one of those un-hateable players like Reus or Iniesta. No particular deficiencies in his ability nor his attitude. Great stuff.

I'm so glad that he didn't pop up in 2012. Lucho seems to know how to use kids unlike Tito and Tata. I hope his development goes well. He is a bright prospect and I'm looking forward to seeing him shine in the future.

It feels like this guy literally popped out of nowhere

We'd probably have had another Thiago saga if he popped up in 2012

Great gesture by Munir: He arranged for 3 younger players to watch Barça - Elche from the VIP box.

Good on him. :)

Munir: "I didn't sleep last night. I didn't yet know if I would play today, but just the fact that I was part of the squad..."

That really impresses me because he was that good under such high pressure and emotion :worthy:

Very nice of him.

His finishing is insane!

Oh yeah. He was very good in friendlies too but it is so hard to play like that in your official debut, I really like that lad !

That is what a starting forward for Barca should look like. I love the way he zips his passes, he has learned well in la Masia. Seeing him muscle up with the big boys in the box on Barca's corners, I couldn't believe my eyes, it's been so long since any Barca forward could do that.

And he gets the chance to learn the trade from the best 9 in the world as well, Luis Suarez.
