Adama wouldn't get a lot of time with the senior team, so, IIRC, he accepted to stay with the B team despite his promotion clause.

Realistically though, Adama is severely lacking in overall game intelligence, and the only real quality he has is his ability to beat a man, something that will obviously decrease drastically when matched up against better opposition, as made evident even against the top 10 segunda teams.

No amount of training and experience will give you that. Also he has a great workrate and wins a lot of balls. If he learns ONLY when to pass the ball and when to dribble he'll become far better player Munir can ever be. And BTW Munir was even worse for B-team last year.

How good they were with the B team doesn't matter. Samper spent a long time being benched by Gumbau and Patric for crying out loud. Adama's playing style is almost identical to that of Deulofeu except he's somehow even more selfish while somehow being less of a goal threat. If we were really desperate for what Adama offers we could have just refrained from selling Deulofeu.

The goals dried up for him pretty quickly last season. I wanna see progress, he's not showing much of it lately. Needs to keep his head up.

Wasn't special for Barça B last season either. He played in midfield a lot of times and the team in general was underperforming but that's when people start looking at these "supertalents" and I didn't see much of him. He needs to step it up.

The team overall last season was a mess. He played from midfield a lot, and was most often played as a winger when used up top and seemed to be instructed to actually operate as a winger instead of drifting in centrally. Sandro as well was quite tame compared to his appearances with the first team. Lucho doesn't seem very bothered by how they played with the B team so he must think his own tactics will fit them better, which would really be a good thing if true, as MSN will need rest this coming season, and Pedro looks set to leave.
