Among all our failed recent forwards, each had a fundamental flaw which stopped their progress at Barcelona.

-Bojan had all the talent in the world, but wasn't mentally prepared for the massive jump to the first team. And then his fall-out with Guardiola about playing in the B team pretty much sent his career on a downward spiral.
-Cuenca was really unlucky with injuries, he's half the player could've been if not for the injuries. (Seriously hope this doesn't happen to Rafinha)
-Tello was really selfish with the ball. And that hindered his progress.
-Deulofeu had everything to become a top player except the attitude, although with Martinez giving him confidence, he could still do well. Loaning players to Sevilla is the worst idea ever. We should loan players to coaches that we can trust, and not based on name. Like Rafinha and Lucho at Celta, Hali at Sporting.
-Adama has everything to be a great traditional RW except the footballing IQ.

It's not easy to be an attacker and make it to the first team in Barcelona, you don't just need to have talent, you need IQ and smarts to match.

In hindsight I'd rather have Adama or Tello than Munir at this point. Sad to say.

What do you guys expect from him? He played 90 mins in a league game we won. He was part of the team that won the game without being totally inferior or something compared to all his teammates.

He is just too weak physically, he didn't bulk up and hasn't improved his passing game at all.

He needs to be loaned ASAP and play every game like Halilovic in Gijon to improve enough to be at least Barca backup. Right now his development stalled.

They need to be subbed on whe we are leading to build confidence rather than face busses though. Im sure they would improve better then.

Not necessarily 80% of the time we are up against buses so they need plenty of playing time against that scenario and when we get to the stage we are leading comfortably the level of performance at times tends to drop and become basically a glorified training session
