He doesnt play more as has not been good enough going forward.
It is not about chemistry it is about doing the right things and making more impact in final third.
Just more and more excuses.

Why do you keep repeating this "not good enough going forward" thing. He makes a lot of forward runs but doesn't get the ball because there is a lack of chemistry and trust between him and his team mates. I agree with Serghei that he needs to play more and a game like today's is a good chance to create that chemistry and trust.

Keep repeating it as it is my opinion and fairly obviously to me the reason EV does not pick him more often.
He doesnt make a lot of runs. Messi looked pissed off at last game due to not moving correctly and this 'the players dont pass' rubbish is latest excuse.
Doesnt get forward enough or make right runs, doesnt participate enough in build up and not great with any cutting edge in final third.
Needs to improve on all of those areas massively.

Latest excuse of 'players dont trust him' and 'lack of chemistry'. Changes weekly when really it is very simple.... he needs to improve going forward if wants to play more.

Roberto played 3 days ago man. It's not a hard game where the best player on that position has to play.

This season would obviously be the adaptation period for Semedo but he is also given pretty decent amount of playing time so far.
It's not like he is struggling against unfair competition and some people keep forgetting that Semedo is not a youth player.
He has to be ready to show what he's got whenever he has a chance.

Exactly and he was first choice at start of season before performances dictated Roberto took over.

Yes he needs to improve but he needs to get the chance to play to do so. It isn't prime Alves he is competing against it's Roberto who is very weak defensively and ok in the offense but isn't anything special, so even the current level of Semedo isn't really below Roberto's. How many chances did Roberto get until he bacame an ok Right back? Alot right? He was a joke at RB last season but improved with time and he has been playing at RB since 2016.

He has played a lot and needs to show more to play more.
Barca will never be a first team where players are there to learn on the job after this amount of minutes. He could be showing more and still learning.
Roberto has been in a different class to Semedo going forward and probably been as good going forward as any of the top full backs going this season.
Semedo defensively is overplayed as well.
He wasnt a 'joke' at RB last season. He was better than Semedo has been this season.

Do you think Valverde is spot on with his lineups most games?! He started Gomes in two of the biggest games this season, could you tell us why?

Even Ter Stegen could have been better than Roberto at RB last season.
